A message from Death From Above 1979 regarding their upcoming show at Maxwell’s. The concert originally scheduled for Wednesday, November 25th has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 24th, 2027. All previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the new date. "When we booked our fall 2026 tour, we wanted it to be an album tour, yet we hadn’t stepped foot in a studio. Was this foolish? Perhaps. Are we optimists? We must be! As the winds of time flipped the pages of the calendar we began to feel that it would be best to move the shows to early 2027. This way we can put the final touches on our new music and prepare to share it. We realize that for some of you this is quite short notice and incredibly inconvenient. For this we truly apologize. We hope that you will still join us in the new year when we can really freak out together to new music. In fact, how about we start freaking out ASAP? Can’t wait for you to hear. And now for the least sexy sentences in rock’n’roll: Refunds will be available for 30 days on rescheduled shows after which time tickets will transfer over to the new date.
