"Alicudi" is a song written about a real island off the coast of Sicily, Italy. I think it has one of my best vocal performances and is also unique for having me playing Mandolin throughout. I hope you enjoy this reflective song, thank you for listening! by @maxx.silver

*ARTIST REVEAL* 27 and 28!

MAXX SILVER & KINDNESS INC!!

We are very happy to announce that @maxx.silver and Kindness Inc. are on The Weapon and The Shield, a #protest music compilation featuring 37 artists raising money to help defend human rights for all...

My good friend Maxx is an electronic based singer songwriter finding different musical and lyrical angles within the genres of Synthpop, Indie, Ambient and Experimental music.

He has a real belief in melody, meaningful lyrics and songs with a presence that lingers after the music finishes...

Kindness Inc. is an electro-punk collective based in Nantes, France, whose sound bridges pulsing electronic textures with warm melodic sensibilities and jazz experimentations. Their motto: “Kindness is not niceness, you can fight back with kindness.” is, in my opinion a universal truth!

Their music is here, go and check it out.

I like songs to have an identity and to relate to my life, even if somehow the style of this song is different to what I normally do. I wrote this at a bus stop in the Dolomites Italy, where the video was filmed. I was missing someone, but also wondering why I was as maybe I was not being treated that well. The song is about how you identify people as genuine or not. And this is not an exact science///. This is a single and you can buy this remixed version on my Bandcamp page by @maxx.silver

First track on my "Afterlife" album (soon to be on Bandcamp as a single version) is sometimes described as "Mountains and Hills" Written at a bus stop in the Dolomites Italy, a rare example of a song that took minutes to write but the melody is SO catchy. A bit like Bavarian Folk in a beer dense pub, with added smurfs. I am proud I made a real earworm and a jolly tune ( for a change) by @maxx.silver

"The Photographer" has the air of something Autumnal. The musical references intended were David Sylvians "Orpheus" and "Wichita Lineman" by Glen Campbell. Both great and classic songs that I am kneehigh to in comparison. But I love this song, especially because our lad Kiffie sings so beautifully on it and like the best songs, it tells a story, of something real, not made up. Do listen to this and the other tracks on my "Personalities" album, on my You Tube channel and Bandcamp channels. Its worth the effort, I promise you! by @maxx.silver

I really enjoyed doing this remix as working with Dashas' vocals is always a pleasure. I added percussion a sampled wine glass, strings and atmospherics to the original Wavewulf track. The full video is on my You Tube channel and tells a story of a woman wanting to escape the nightmare city...
