This year I had the incredible experience of raising a litter of puppies from the very beginning. It’s been messy and exhausting and absolutely unforgettable.

What made it even more special was doing it all alongside the one thing that matters most to me in this world; Evie. Watching her step into motherhood with so much patience, softness, and instinct has been one of the most grounding things I’ve ever witnessed. She’s taught me more about resilience, trust, and unconditional love than any book or person ever could.

Raising puppies isn’t glamorous. It’s sleepless nights, early mornings, endless cleaning, constant worrying, and pouring everything you have into these tiny little beings who grow and change faster than you can catch your breath. But it’s also the joy of seeing their personalities develop, the first tail wags, the little moments of bravery, and the privilege of being there for almost their every “first.”

There’s something really humbling about being part of their journey, knowing that for a short moment in their lives, you were their entire world. And in return, they somehow make yours feel fuller, softer, and so much bigger.

This group of puppies has tested me, grounded me, and reminded me why I love. I’m grateful for every chaotic, beautiful second of it… and even more grateful that I got to share it all with Evie.

Here’s to the sleepless nights, the puppy breath, the new beginnings, and the little lives that change us without even trying❤️
