if you told max of 12 years ago that they would get to solo travel the country following their favorite band on tour, and sleep on multiple sidewalks to do so, they wouldn’t have believed it for a second. this band has given me courage in my darkest moments to keep going and live authentically, to be unapologetic in who I am and what I believe in, and to seek out people who embrace me for all my ugliness. it is a high that has yet to be rivaled, singing the lyrics that saved my life with tens of thousands of other people who found hope and joy and community through this band. my chemical romance forever motherfuckers. by @maxxhavocc

July 2025: The Coast
-
Turns out you fall in love with California after spending 10 days solo camping up the coast in your shitty car to see your favorite band. Got to see the ocean again which is always incredibly special to me and learned a lot about myself. taken in Immanuel Presbyterian Church by @maxxhavocc

June 2025: The Desert
-
First stop of the greatest trip of my life. Made it from Denver, Colorado to Sawtooth Canyon, California in one day. 15 hours alone on the highway. Camped out under a night sky so expansive it felt like I was on a different planet. The Mojave blew my mind and I wish I could’ve spent more time there just wandering around. Never thought I could love a desert like that. taken in Joshua Tree National Park by @maxxhavocc

obligatory i love my friends post: this last year has dragged me through 15 miles of shit (bad reference), but was also really special in a lot of ways cuz i learned a lot about myself through a series of bad luck and major fuckups, and these guys never gave up on me, and I feel really truly blessed to have them around by @maxxhavocc
