To the game that gave me everything, thank you.

Softball has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. It gave me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, lessons I’ll carry forever, and a version of myself I never would’ve found without it. This game challenged me, humbled me, broke me down at times, and also built me into the person I am today.

Being able to wear the jersey and compete at the Division I level was something younger me only dreamed about. I’ll forever be grateful for the teammates, coaches, trainers, fans, and people who truly supported me throughout this journey. Through every high and every low, God never stopped guiding me, protecting me, and blessing me far beyond what I deserved.

There were moments I questioned everything, but looking back now, I can see God’s hand in every chapter, the closed doors, the victories, the heartbreak, the growth, and the people He placed in my life along the way. This sport gave me so much more than wins and losses. It gave me purpose, resilience, faith, and relationships that will last a lifetime.

Although this chapter is ending, I know it’s only the beginning of what God has planned next for me. And for that, I’m excited.

Thank you softball.
