I thank God for this opportunity and for every single one of these boys and coaches. Ever since I was little, I prayed to have a brother—and that prayer was answered. The Lord gave me more than just one; He gave me a whole team of them. I can’t express how proud I am to stand on that field with them every single game. As much as I argue with them and yell in their faces, the moment I go out to kick, all I feel is positive support—miss or make. These boys have been welcoming, respectful, kind, and humble from the very beginning. Thank you to my coaches, too. Thank you for giving me this opportunity, for believing in me, and for putting 100% faith in me every time I step onto that field. Thank you for being incredible father figures and mentors in my life. To our community, thank you for supporting us through this journey. I truly wouldn’t be able to do this without you. And to my team and my coaches—I love each and every one of you. Thank you for dealing with me when I’m crying, overwhelmed, in my own head, or screaming out of frustration, and still always having my back. Thank you for making this possible, for making it memorable, and for giving me the best experience I could ever ask for! Missions trip 2024!!!
