Autumn Leaves — with the impromptu Liffy II combo

Sometimes the best parts of playing music are the unplanned spontaneous moments where you and others around you agree to fully embody the musical spirit and channel it through everyone. I haven’t gotten the chance to sing a jazz standard in a while and I’m so grateful for last Sunday resurrecting some of that passion🫶🏼

Please make sure this finds its way to all the musicians who participated in this with me 🫶🏼💖

And COME TO @have.a.good.mic for more of these incredible moments EVERY SUNDAY

I had so many photos from this past year, some of which I’ve already shared, and others that have never yet seen the light of day. In honor of 2025 wrapping up I wanted to share some of the beauty that was before me this past year. San Diego, Lake Tahoe, upstate NY, Pittsburgh, Cornell NY, and of course many from our beloved city right here in ny were the setting of these photos. See if you can tell which ones com from where…

There is such a beauty in capturing a moment in life because they just never repeat again. With the help of editing in color grading, I feel like I can peace back together the essence of the moment I was in when I took a photo. I am an artist in my soul, but a musician by craft, so photography to me represents the truest form of art for the sake of it.

While we all mind our business and live our privileged lives in the 21st-century, don’t ever forget that we came from the Earth and we will return to it. Honor the beauty all around us, and feel the awe of the moment. Protect our earth before it’s too late 💖🌸

Happy new year, I love you guys 💖 by @mayabliffeld
