Postcards from Portugal: Day 1 🇵🇹

Another birthday, another passport stamp 😂✈️

We packed up the family and headed to Portugal to celebrate our baby turning ONE! Travelling with two little ones is always an adventure, but I’m so excited to share this trip with you guys.

First up, surviving the flight and getting settled into our home for the week. Let the Portuguese adventures begin! 🤎

One of those mom purchases that just makes leaving the house with two kids a little easier 🙌🏾

I’ve been using the @bugabooglobal ride-on board when I don’t want to bring the double stroller, but also know my toddler is absolutely NOT walking the entire time 😂 So far it’s been convenient, easy to use and such a good in-between option for our family.

Definitely one I’d recommend to my fellow moms of two 🤎

Putting @lagree.collective to the ultimate test with my resident workout girly @meshaesworld 🤍 Safe to say, it earned her stamp of approval.

Challenging, low-impact, and such a good full-body workout — there’s a reason Lagree has become one of my favourite ways to move.

If you’ve been wanting to try it for yourself, use my code **MAYAH20** at checkout for $$ off your class ✨

The Italian Intermission: The Finale 🇮🇹

Our last day in Italy and apparently we had officially reached the “we’re not doing anything we don’t feel like doing” portion of the trip 😂

We had a whole list of things we were supposed to see in Rome, but it was HOT, we were tired, and honestly… we just didn’t want to. So we ate, walked around, took a nap, went to dinner and ended the night at a hookah lounge.

I’m really trying to get out of the habit of doing things just because I feel like I’m supposed to. Even on vacation. Sometimes the best use of a day is just doing whatever feels good in the moment.

And on that note, the Italian Intermission is officially over 🥲🇮🇹

The Italian Intermission: Day 6 🇮🇹

After the journey TO Lake Como, I learned my lesson 😭😂 Apparently I am not God’s strongest soldier and the Euro backpacker lifestyle is simply not for me.

This time we did things a little differently and honestly… this is much more my speed 😂 Took our time in Bellagio, did a little shopping, had lunch and then made our way to Rome as comfortably as possible.

A muchhhh better travel day. Now onto Rome 🇮🇹

The Italian Intermission: Day 5 🇮🇹

Yeah… I don’t wanna hear any Lake Como slander ever again 😂

A private boat, Afrobeats blasting, dancing in the middle of Lake Como and ending the day in Varenna. Easily one of my favourite days of the entire trip and honestly, one of the best days I’ve had in a longggg time.

10/10. No notes.

The Italian Intermission: Day 4 🇮🇹

Getting from Milan to Bellagio with all our luggage, in that heat, via train AND ferry… 0/10 experience 😭😂

But the second we finally made it to Bellagio? Suddenly I forgot everything I just went through. This place is unreal.

Would I do that journey again with this much luggage? Absolutely not. Would I come back to Lake Como? Immediately.
