The beautiful costars and director of @thevoiceofhindrajabfilm before the @goldenglobes. If you get the chance to experience a film as real and heartbreaking as this, you have the power to do something with your knowledge.

Thank you to Clara, and as always, Free Palestine xx

This past January, a special group and I shot in the Anza-Borrego Desert to achieve a vision I have had for a while now. My series “Where Are The Olive Trees?” was created to not only showcase the beauty of traditional Palestinian clothing, but to also question the absence of one of the most important symbols in Palestinian history. I had the beautiful privilege of being able to use archived pieces from family members, including my great grandmothers headdress.

Thank you to everyone, and especially my wonderful family and friends who modeled & assisted me on this journey. It was incredible to be around so many beautiful and kind women, I am eternally grateful.

The link to the full series is in my bio xx
