‘THEY CAN FEEL’ ~ excerpt of my performance for @assandcakes WILD edition (05.04.2026)

On that day I told the story of a wild animal kept captive in a circus that finally breaks free and escapes their prison. However, there are multiple layers of interpretation that I leave to you to explore. I tried to bring the public along with me through all the spectrum of emotions that one can feel passing from oppression to freedom.

I prepared this performance in 10 days between Lisbon and Brussels but somehow it’s one of the pieces I danced that I am most proud of to this day.

I would like to thank specifically:
@wanderlustmorgane for having me and yet letting me express myself in my own way, trusting my vision.
@femme_fatal_error for being my human prop and making this project make sense.

Let me know if you want to see pt 2 😊😊😊 by @mayamoro_

dancing for the volcanos, feeding on the energy they’re giving me, feels more like a ritual than a training

people living on this island talk about it in third person, as if it was somehow living and sentient. They soon told me that the island ‘doesn’t give you what you look for but what you need’.
At first I thought this was all too ‘spiritually performative’, but two weeks later I kinda began to understand.
My answer was maybe freedom. I haven’t felt so free in a long long time. And this was maybe what I needed. Freedom from external expectations as well as from my own thoughts and self-impositions.

words to manifest the year I want for the new big age I just entered into:

performances, art, exchanges, learning, laughter, love, touch, connection, offline, money, training, travel, fashion, sisterhood, friendship, hustle, growth, experiences, self-discovery, detachment, letting go, boundaries, self-care, sleeping, relax, kisses, and absolute freedom 💞

something in the way ~ flow choreo for @verticale_studio students

Song choice: as I am about to conclude another spin around the sun, my heart and mind ache for the versions of reality that could have been and did not become.

And as I numb myself to avoid accepting things as they turned out to be, I put this oppressing feeling into the only place where I know what to do with it. by @mayamoro_
