I’ve been reading these books recently and absolutely loving them! 📚🍂

Jane Eyre has been on my to-read list for a while, and I was recently gifted this beautiful edition. It’s been such an interesting journey so far, and I can’t wait to see Jane’s story unfold.

Die kleine Hexe was recommended to me by my brother since I’ve been learning German. I’m really enjoying it so far, and adding lots of new words to my vocabulary along the way 😊

On Writing and Worldbuilding is by writer and YouTuber Timothy Hickson (Hello Future Me).
I’ve loved his videos for a long time, and reading his book has been really inspiring me with my own writing.

And The Picture of Dorian Gray is a classic I recently finished. Such a haunting story, and it was perfect to read around the beginning of autumn. 🍂

Happy reading! ❤️ by @mayarabbitz

A little look at the process of illustrating my children’s book! 📚❤️
There’s been A LOT of figuring things out as I go since this is my first time illustrating, but it’s been incredibly rewarding 😄

My first time illustrating my own children’s book! 📖 ✨
This is a little work-in-progress section of the first spread from my book, “A Little Strand of Julie" 🧡
I’m discovering a lot about illustrating (and procreate!) and really enjoying drawing all the characters I imagined while writing the story.
Still a long way to go, but it’s very satisfying to see everything slowly come to life 🥹
