Kitchen & dining revamp, part 3 🤍 For this corner, I wanted every detail to feel intentional and the whole space to feel inviting. I kept the palette soft and cohesive, then layered in texture: linen curtains to soften the window light, a vintage-inspired rug to anchor the dining area, and woven placemats to bring warmth to the white table. The darker wood console adds depth, while the arched mirror balances the room’s straight lines and reflects that beautiful afternoon glow.

Mixing warm brass accents with the existing crystal chandelier gives the space a collected feel. Fresh florals and a few thoughtfully placed pieces finish the room without overwhelming it.

To me, a cozy home starts with how the elements work together: texture, proportion, light, and enough breathing room to appreciate each detail. A little more considered, a little more welcoming, and so much more us. ✨

Checking into one of Montréal’s most iconic views🤎

Recently stayed at the beautiful Montréal Marriott Château Champlain⁠ and this might be one of my favourite ways I’ve experienced the city.

From the moment we walked in, I loved the warm, elegant interiors and all the little design details throughout the hotel. Our suite was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room to actually settle in and relax rather than feeling like we were simply stopping somewhere to sleep. But the highlight for me had to be those iconic arched windows overlooking downtown Montréal, especially once the city lit up at night. There’s something about having your morning coffee with that view that makes a stay feel extra special. The hotel’s rooms and suites are designed around panoramic city or river views, and the arched windows are one of the property’s signature features.

And then there was the breakfast buffet at Lloyd☕️🥐 We had the loveliest slow morning there; beautiful interiors, coffee, warm croissants and such a delicious spread. It was one of those breakfasts where you actually want to sit a little longer instead of rushing off to start the day. Lloyd is the hotel’s signature restaurant and serves breakfast through dinner with flavours inspired by Québec’s culinary culture.

Location was another huge plus. You’re right in the heart of downtown, with the hotel directly connected to Montréal’s metro network and within easy reach of Old Montréal, the Bell Centre and Sainte-Catherine Street, which made exploring the city so convenient.

Between the spacious suite, beautiful city views, breakfast at Lloyd and the overall atmosphere, our stay felt like the perfect mix of city getaway + little luxury escape.

Definitely one to save if you’re planning a Montréal trip. 🤎 @marriottchateauchamplain
