One year. One wild ride. 🎬

We put together a quick recap of everything (at least what we’re allowed to show) that’s happened since we opened the doors at MAYA VP Studios. The builds, the shoots, the people who made it all worth it.

From our 4,000 sq ft LED volume and creative space in West Charlotte to the mobile LED virtual production solution we took on the road (Alabama, Tampa, New England — thank you @4thfloorcreative), this year has been proof of what happens when you bet on something before it’s finished. Every project on this reel is a client who was willing to take a chance on us, the most talented production crews who believed in our vision and shared their craft with us and the stories we got to help tell in a whole new way.

@dustoftheground for bringing the ambitious @sclottery job and being the first to film at our studio. Your crew killed it! Thank you!

@koreymac for bringing MJ and forced us to buy a ramp! Haha. Thank you.

Everyone’s that’s been a part of our story. I couldn’t tag every single one of you but THANK YOU!

Much love to my brother, @jacob_mccall with @easteditorial for putting this reel so masterfully.

One of the most rewarding parts of building MAYA VP Studios has been seeing the vision come to life through projects like this.

One of our very first projects and we were honored to support @chernoffnewman for their @sclottery with @dustoftheground providing the virtual production services and studio space portion of their full-scale shoot.

From the riggers and stunt performers to the art department, agency, clients, extras, and crew — the studio was fully alive. Every room, every corner, every part of the space was being used the way it was intended.

That’s a meaningful feeling as a founder. Not just because the production was big, but because it showed what’s possible when the right people, the right tools, and the right environment come together.

Grateful for the trust in what we’ve built. The collaboration, and @dustoftheground and @ablevfx for their talented team! by @mayavpstudios

We had an incredible opportunity to produce Ford Racing Media Day 2026. Big couple of days, tight timelines, a lot of moving parts—and our crew handled it with grace and intention.

Grateful for the trust from Ford Racing and proud of what we delivered. Most of all, I’m Incredibly grateful for a talented crew that made this all possible!

Faces from our One Year Anniversary party. We wanted to have an impromptu editorial shoot for those who attended. So we did. Then Colin wanted to shoot it with Anamophic lenses. Because why? Well…Why not?!

Visuals from the minds of @colinncassidy and @bostondang

Thank you again to all of you who came out and supported!

Thanks to @charlottefilmrentals for letting us rock the @xelmusanamorphic.

One year ago, we opened the doors to something we weren’t sure Charlotte was ready for. Today, we’re just saying thank you.

A year later, our little idea turned into a place where crews became collaborators, clients became friends, and a lot of long nights turned into work we’re genuinely proud of.

This past Friday, we got to celebrate it with the people who made it real. Partners who trusted us with their vision. Our crew who showed up days before and stayed late. Our fellow creatives and studio partners who brought their craft and their ideas. Our friends and family who believed in this before there was anything to believe in. City and creative leaders who were in attendance. Thank you for filling this space and making it feel like exactly what we hoped it would be. Your support goes unnoticed.

Special thanks to our collaborators and sponsors of the evening:

Matt Moore (@matt_moore704) and his whole family for providing the most delicious food.

Justin Hazelton (@justindrinks ) and his wife for keeping the libations pouring! Can’t wait for the opening of @and.or.cafe

Bird (@seebirdgo) for the curating the vibes all night!

DJ Red (@thedjred) for the VJ set throwing down some nostalgic music videos

@lmnugie and @rndcusa for providing the spirits. Thank you sister!

@demott.john for the @sugarcreekbrewing beer selection!

@dboards for providing theeeee best selection of @constellationbrands wines.

@justin_mower for the @delta.seltzer alternative drinks.

Last but not least… to my friends and crew that made the night possible:

@rsmblee my little brother. You were there from the start and couldn’t have done this year without you.

@bostondang and the crew (@mattbaker75, @danny.v.moreno and Iris) for the incredible set build!

@brianfrench.dp and @caynetucker for your vision and attention to detail.

@t.j_morrison for lighting both of our set.

@hudsonstafford for your time and your expertise in motion control! @4.velocity for the WIN!

@colinncassidy for the fashion editorial shoot for our guests.

@charlottefilmrentals for the xelmuse lens and @illuminationdyn for the support.

Last night we threw an experience.

What people didn’t see was the ungodly amount of hours that was put in to put that experience together. The ecosystem we’re building here is filled with craftspeople who are truly obsessed about their craft. Everyone in the mindset of, “how much can we push this”

Every frame. Every detail. Every movement. All done with intention.

I’m truly honored to grind it out along side some of the best people.

More soon. by @mayavpstudios

Logistics for company moves just got a lot easier.

From a Construction site 🚧 to a Skyscraper 🏗️ in a matter of minutes.

Shout out to production designers! They’re the real MVP in this space.
