SOMETHING IS OFF (Short Film Block) The kind of unease that doesn’t announce itself. It just sits wrong, a little too quiet, a little too long, until you realize you’ve been holding your breath. Some of it’s funny. All of it lingers.

Screening Sat. Nov 7/ @affluxstudios at 4:00 PM

Film Lineup:
HEATED (dir. Shianne Salazar)
LATIN LOVER (dir. Kevin Rios) @maybekevinrios
SHE’LL COME BACK (dir.Aaron Tyler Gil, Gerald Pain) @filmicjones @geraldproducesproductions
CALL IT A NIGHT (dir.Ryan Senatore, Angelo Azar) @ryan.senatore @angeloazar.jr

What do your grandma’s shower, the shady adult video store down the block, and the local art school’s brutalist library all have in common? Glass blocks, baby 🧊

Designer, curator, and writer @rodmanprimack put it best in his article “A Clear Dilemma”

“Remember when you realized that you actually wanted to make out with the person that made you squirm and uncomfortable, like you hated them so much but making out with them would be the best answer to that hatred. That’s glass blocks.”

nothing beats nyc summer + experiencing fire island for the first time. T’was magical. Not in the way I imagined. It’s as if the island gave me exactly what i needed. Nothing less or more. It was special. These pictures barely capture the experience but luckily they will be burned in my memory forever.
