Volví a El Salvador después de 15 años,
y caminar por este mercado se sintió como entrar en una de las fotos antiguas de mi mamá. 📸❤️

The colors, the noise, the warmth all felt like a memory I somehow remembered and somehow had never lived.

Putting my feet on the ground that gave me life changed my perspective completely. Being here shifted something deep within me. It reminded me who I am and where I come from. There is something sacred about returning to the place that shaped your blood before it shaped your dreams.

Hugging my grandmother brought me back to myself. In her arms, I felt my entire bloodline. Generations of love, sacrifice, resilience, and survival wrapped around me in one moment. It was a reminder that I am never alone, that everything I am comes from the women who came before me.

I kept thinking about Bad Bunny’s album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, because it inspired this trip. As a photographer, I had a powerful epiphany about why I do what I do, because sometimes pictures are the only things that survive time.

My mom’s film photos, the ones she took of me and my siblings, the ones she captured during her life here, are the reason I became a photographer. They taught me that a moment can live forever if someone is brave enough to preserve it. That memory is an act of love.

This shoot was me reclaiming my story, honoring my roots, and embracing the girl who grew up between countries, cultures, and dreams.

This was me, authentically myself, finding purpose where it all began.

El Salvador, you reminded me that my art has always been my home. 💛

Celebrating earth day with some lost files from Mount Rainer 🌎💚🏔️🧚✨

• fun fact this was my first national park I camped at & it was such an amazing experience we were able to hike during the day and stargaze with park rangers using some big dope ass telescopes + watching the sunrise at a lake which reflected the mountain!! Must say it was a magical experience 🌌

2024 was a year I’ll never forget—a season of growth, resilience, and making my wildest dreams a reality. From moments of doubt to standing in my purpose, this year taught me to trust the process, embrace the challenges, and celebrate every win, big or small. The most incredible part of it all is how every step has shaped me into the person I am today.
