Today is the three year anniversary of my debut novella's release, and the third anniversary of the day I officially became a "published" author! I'd released a few short stories and web novels before this, but my official first full novella "When The Rain Begins To Burn" officially release on Oct. 13th, 2023 and marked the start of my career! A few weeks later I'd sign for my first full novel release with Timber Ghost Press and I haven't slowed down since! This book means so much to me, and it's crazy to see the first proof compared to what would become the official book to its new hardcover edition as the years went on.

Most debut books are lucky to sell a hundred copies in their lifetimes, mine managed to get three hundred in its first year, along with some really neat award nominations. I will forever be thankful for Judah and Noland's story, for everyone who supported the Kickstarter and made the book possible (especially @chrisshehanart and @horrorsunflower, alongside my amazing beta readers and everyone at @gildedpagebookstore for letting me attend my first book event as a newbie that very same day) and anyone who has picked it up over the years 🥹 I may not write horror anymore but it'll always hold a special place in my heart.

Thank you all for three amazing years and all of the love and support of all of my stories! Here's to many more!

I had a very busy Thursday!

Being an indie author is no easy career path, it's a one person team most of the time with a lot of things to manage! So when someone says "indies took the easy way out" I can assure you we didn't 😂 thankfully once this book hits the printer I'll be able to actually spend a good chunk of my days writing until I type "the end" again and we start a lot of this all over! This doesn't even show the invoices I sent, the updates to Patr30n, or the other social media posts I made between all of this! (Nor did it show the Phasmophobia break I took after dinner haha)

Should I post more looks into the life of a full time author??

✨COVER REVEAL✨

I simply couldn't hold off any longer so we're getting an end of the week holiday treat 🥰 I am so excited to share this GORGEOUS cover that my favorite person in the whole wide world, @tinailustra, did for my forthcoming Christmas romance novella "The Moss Blanket Inn" - part of The Night Farm universe! Following the holiday misadventures of a moth-person, their werewolf husband, and the human they accidentally kidnapped while snowed in aboard their house boat, this cozy, sugar and spice filled winter story has already captured my heart! Look at how adorable they are! Their little heads in the window by the tree 🥹 it's so precious!

The Moss Blanket Inn arrives this holiday season!

Who's interested in a cozy academia mystery about a paranormal book reviewer and a survival horror streamer trying to break a curse?

"Afternoons at The Acid and Apothecary" follows Nick Winchester and Daedalus Upshur as they navigate a new roommate situation with developing feelings, a rapidly accelerating curse, dark magic, and life in the public eye. Part of The Night Farm universe, this paranormal romance novel is full of Kiki's Delivery Service meets Gilmore Girl vibes, whimsigoth aesthetics, and an expansive mystery.

A small ARC campaign will go out this weekend! I am keeping it relatively small since the book is available in full on Patreon already, but if you'd like the chance to read and help spread the words head to the Google Form in my b!o to sign up!
