This is the last thing I wanted to do with the Awful Lotta Birmingham mixtape, a documentary. After putting together 26 people across 17 tracks, I knew there was a bigger story to tell. To get to this point, it started before me, groundwork being laid down when I only knew Stretch, but from that nucleus, to Rgg Tech & Drizz GB clashing in the Pod, to building chemistry on sets, warring Manchester, going viral multiple times and then building the ALB mixtape off the back of it, I’m happy that this final pillar of ALB-related creation is out.Documentary took me and @iamlautz more edits and re-edits then you know. The live event with everyone looking CLEAN was seriously needed in the city, we’ve never dressed up.I say all that to say, if you’re in this, contributed to it or even see this and get inspired to do something, at the end of the day, I’m just doing my job and you lot helped me do it.The latest piece to a 2.5 decade tapestry of some of the greatest music to come out of not just the city but the entire island.The Awful Lotta Documentary is available for viewing now, enjoy the stories, you’ll learn something new at least, I’m confident of it.IN ALB WE TRUST, AWFUL LOTTA BIRMINGHAM 🐂 by @maydaymayo

D4YS B4 44 4️⃣4️⃣Wrote most of these songs while travelling. Life imitates art and vice versa. There’s some reflective stories, some times of extreme excitement, some of being the best and doing the work and some of lust and love. Idk what 4️⃣4️⃣ looks like yet, I just know it’s on its way.
