💚 HIPPOLYTA
Directed by Shelby Mayes

She wants love. She doesn’t need it.

Fresh out of a three-year relationship, Polly reluctantly dives into the dating app world with the encouragement of her friends. Confident, outgoing, and comfortable with who she is, she quickly discovers just how determined the dating world can be to challenge that confidence.

As fatphobia, unsolicited advice, and disappointing encounters begin to take their toll, Polly finds herself questioning the self-worth she once held so firmly. But changing herself to make other people comfortable has never been her style. Funny, honest, and refreshingly unapologetic, Hippolyta is a comedy-drama about dating, body image, friendship, and learning that wanting someone to love you is very different from needing their validation.

Experience Hippolyta as part of our 🟢 Green Block on Sunday, August 16 at 1:00 PM at Eastside Cinema.
