The murky dregs of Winter were just wringing out their last drops….

I remember sitting at my desk and receiving @maykors ’ email with the track. Changed my energy!

And then I just played it on repeat as I worked.

So. Many. Times!

I sent Maykors a selection of raw vocals and when he chose this one and built ‘Crossfire’ around it - I just fell in love with it!

For all the trials that can lead to some songs forming, I’m still grateful I get to process my experiences like this.

Thank you for all the love on this so far 💙

And big thanks to @pedraprodutiione 📱 y @dharmatorresfilm ✂️ @fokuzrecordings as well, ofc 🙌

Why I chose Skrillex and Drake as code names is for you to decide…!

If you know me well, maybe you can decipher it…. 😆

@maykors played a blinder as usual on this - even if it was well over two years ago!!!

He turned my musings from Feb ‘23 into this liquid diamond, ‘Crossfire’.

‘Crossfire’ makes up a part of his sparkling new album ‘Celestial Spheres Pt.1’ on @fokuzrecordings and it’s out todayyyy!

Hugest thanks to all involved for their wizardry and support, as per. Feels like coming home, getting back into that groove.

It’s so weird looking back in time on multiple fronts as we filmed this back in Feb this year as well…. So much has shifted it’s unreal.

I just love this song so much and so hope you do too 🤍

Let us know how it lights up your weekend!! by @maykors
