What they say? To know me is to know my story, well here’s a part of my story. Got approached by @voyagehouston • #VoyageHouston a few months ago to do this article and I couldn’t be more honored and proud to do. Thanks so much to my tribe for the support since the day I decided to become an artists, my clients over the years and especially those that have become more like family to me, for trusting me and my skills to come through for you and to my makeup/beauty community…babeeey some do not have a clue how this industry can be but us, thanks for the support and respect from all of you. Can’t wait to hear all of your thoughts on the article.

Love Shana 🫶🏾✨

For my friend Ashlynn in her 20s. 🕊️✨
For my ladies I know who fought and beat the hell out of this disease. 🩷✨

The month is almost over, but it’s never too late to get your mammogram done. 🩷✨

Thanks to @beebusyhive for ALWAYS making sure I get the support I need and your referral to @therosehouston | #TheRoseHouston . I’ve heard great things about this organization over the years and appreciate how comfortable your team made me feel before, during and after my screening. 🩷🙏🏾✨ by @maykupjunkee

My career in the beauty industry has put me in the position to showcase my talents and expertise in places where I’m supposed to be in…and may that continue to be my life as long as I’m physically, mentally and emotionally capable to do so.

Just a few weeks ago we were all together, so this stings a lot more. 💔

Said I was going to text you this week to see how you were doing, how excited I was about us all getting back together in a few weeks and to tell you to leave all that damn baby oil in Cleveland (he was never ashy on set, lol).
Down time on set, you get a chance to talk and learn about one another and he was so excited for his future and said he wanted to make his mom and brothers (all transitioned on) proud. He said I want to channel everything I’ve been carrying into my work and I believed him.

Naturally funny, FULL of ideas and had a song or joke in the chamber ready to go, lol smh.

You will truly be missed @hakeemsharif #HakeemSharif 🤍🕊️✨ by @maykupjunkee

sun on my skin is one of my favorite forms of therapy and I desperately needed it. by @maykupjunkee

A couple of months ago, I told myself that I will accomplish VERY SPECIFIC goals before this year’s over. I spoke into myself and said I will get a TV series under my belt (have a whole post stating it)…

…and Universe said, yes..you will. 💄🎬

S/O to Phillip Martin | @ninopko keeping me, these brushes busy and ideas alive over the past few months, can’t wait to see how this goes!

STAY TUNED PPL!!🙌🏾💯

Overwatered.
Dehydrated soil/foundation.
Not enough water.
Burned from the sun.
Not enough sunlight.
Seeds planted, but not nurtured properly.

is not just about plants, but about how we treat ourselves.

Thriving and GrOwing! 🌱 by @maykupjunkee

May the calls and emails keep coming in.
May my calendar stay filled with opportunities.
May my name leave the lips of those speaking of me and my talents NOT OF HATE AND NEGATIVITY.
May my resume continue to grow with blessings and success with the bag to match.

S/O to @ninopko Phil Martin for these back to back blessings and seeing my skills through your storylines.

-Dee Hill @thedeehill you set the bar high baby, thank you for being so kind and loving. It’s always protecting and helping each other when we’re together. 🤞🏾💛✨

- Hakeem @hakeemsharif such a joy meeting/working with you…keep smiling. You have a story to tell and can’t wait to see it.

And to @qualifiedmemberjay @jalisa.marie.filmz @gb.jayt @dreamliteproductions and the rest of the cast/crew who made this project happen and feel good about being apart of. 💯✨ by @maykupjunkee
