8.8.8 Red Wedding in the Hollywood Hills ❤️ Married for the 1st time at 51yrs old to the greatest man I have ever met 🫶 I was determined to celebrate so much so that we had 2 weddings in 1 week! Boo 🥷 been a while since I posted just who the F* I am💪 The fires 🔥 killed my soul a little ❤️‍🩹 but as my many friends told me…there will be a moment I feel like a phoenix 🐦‍🔥 rising from the ashes, now we are settled in a new home 🧧the glorious sun is shining I’m so grateful for the love ❤️ I have in my life …🫶 I’m back! People would ask what I did when I met them and they would want to see something and I only just realized I didn’t have a complete reel of what I’ve done duh! Bali 💙... how I’ve missed you! I actually lived here back in 2011, and coming back brought back all the feels. The people, the culture, the smell in the air, the sunsets, the heat... there’s just something about this island. Back then, I was dancing barefoot on the beach for 12 hrs straight. 😎 This trip? We were told Savaya was the place to be. We rocked up at 2pm, only to find out the DJ we’d paid to see wasn’t on until 9pm. When did beach day dancing start at 9PM? We gave it our best shot... couple of cocktails (with tiny alcohol pours so we gave up on them), some dull food, BUT! the sunset vibes was a hit 🫶 as always... but by 8:30pm we looked at each other like, “It’s so commercial now and not the same!” And called it quits 😂 Mission aborted. Home, bed, zero regrets. After four years away, I returned to my childhood home on the beautiful island of Tenerife to celebrate my mum’s 80th birthday. Spending time with family and hugging the people I love was priceless. I was incredibly proud to see my younger brother @rob.venture_88 journey—his @venturehospitality.group has grown to 22 restaurants, including a Michelin and a steakhouses in the worlds best! And as a perfect ending to the trip, my standing Buddha statue, hidden away in a basement for 20 years after selling my villa there finally flew home with me to Los Angeles. Hi 2026 ❤️ Getting married for the 1st time at 50 what’s not to celebrate 🙌 Thank you to @krisranoso @lcshotss for taking the time as your advice was priceless 💝 @glamourclosetbride had 1 of a kind sample dresses which are a fraction of the retail price which is double win for a bargain hunter like myself 💪 The more money I can save in the dress the more food, drink and dancing we can all do to celebrate 🎉 If anyone has any tips for a novice bride who never kept notes or pictures of what I wanted 1 day as I didn’t think it was on the cards, this 👰‍♀️ planning seems very overwhelming and not sure where to start so comment below what you did? taken in West Hollywood, California by @maylingng
