50 years. ❤️‍🔥

After everything this year tried to throw at me, I’m still standing, still smiling, still blessed, and still becoming the woman I was meant to be. 🙏🏽✨

They wanted me to fold like a church chair…
but baby, the chair got upgraded to a throne. 👑😂

And through it all, I’m grateful for the love, the lessons, the laughter, and the man beside me. ❤️

I want to thank you… 🎶
@mrtain ❤️

Here’s to 50, to us, and to everything still ahead. 🥂💋

Isaiah 54:17 — No weapon formed against me shall prosper. 🙏🏽👑 by @maymactire

Dear Melody,

I know you’re trying so hard to be strong.

I know there are things you don’t understand yet—things that make you question yourself, your worth, and whether you’re somehow not enough.

BUT LISTEN TO ME...

None of it means there is something wrong with you.

You are not too sensitive.
You are not too emotional.
You are not too much.
You are not difficult to love.

You are a child who deserves to feel safe, heard, protected, and loved exactly as you are.

Please don’t spend your whole life trying to make other people comfortable while you’re hurting inside.

You will learn that sometimes people you love will disappoint you. Some people will leave. Some will hurt you. And there will be moments when you wonder how you’re going to keep going.

YOU WILL..

You are going to survive things you never imagined you could.

And one day, you’re going to look back and realize that the little girl who thought she had to be strong all the time became a woman who learned how to choose herself.

You will make mistakes.
You will love deeply.
You will lose people.
You will start over.
You will cry.
You will laugh again.

And sweetheart… you will become so much stronger than you ever thought possible.

But I want you to know something even more important:

You never had to earn your worth.

You were worthy before you accomplished anything.
Before anyone chose you.
Before anyone loved you.
Before you became a mother.
Before you built a career.
Before you took care of everyone else.

You were already enough.

So please, little me…

Stop blaming yourself for things that were never yours to carry.

Protect your heart, but don't close it.

Dream bigger.

Speak up.

Walk away when something doesn't feel right.

And when you look in the mirror, try to see what I see now:

A beautiful, resilient little girl who deserved the world—and somehow kept finding a way to create one for herself.

I’m sorry you had to grow up so much earlier than you should have.

But I promise you…

I’ve got you now.

You don't have to do everything alone anymore.

Love,
The woman you became ❤️ by @maymactire
