I got way too emotional seeing this picture not to share with you all. I had some videos of my baptism that were taken from my moms cell phone but never saw these. I remember this day clearer then ever. I was crying way before even stepping into the water because I knew all the promises God had for me. I had no clue what struggles or battles I’d face down the road in this journey with the Lord but let me tell you, it has all been worth it because being loved by God is a feeling like no other. Life is tough but it’s easier when you have Gods guidance, unconditional love, support, and grace in your life. When I got baptized it didn’t mean that I’d never fall or sin again. It just meant that I choose to follow Christ for the rest of my life. I choose to allow him to transform me. Forever grateful for my story & the testimony I’m building. Thank you God. Worship isn’t just something I do at church or during a worship set. Sometimes, it looks like getting up when I don’t feel like it. Choosing discipline over excuses. Taking care of the body God gave me because I’m grateful for it.This fitness journey has changed me in more ways than I expected.
