Week 13 done! We had so many firsts this week— first debate, first H&P sim center experience, and first introduction to VR. We also had our third Bio of Disease exam earlier this week and are now onto the heme and endocrine unit. In H&P this week, we focused on musculoskeletal exams and practiced so many provocation maneuvers on each other! Happy Friday🦠🩺 by @mayo.pa.program

Happy Friday! As we continue to celebrate PA Week, let’s remember what makes the PA profession so special: the commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care, the power of collaboration, and the dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. 💙
We enjoyed a little sweet treat this week to celebrate and come together in the middle of our busy week🍩
🩺 Fun fact: The PA profession was established in 1965 to help address the growing need for healthcare providers, and today, PAs practice in a wide variety of specialties and settings!
As students at Mayo Clinic, we are proud to celebrate the PAs who embody these values every day and the future PAs who will continue to shape the future of healthcare. Here’s to the impact we make together! ✨

Take a look at what the class of 2027 has been up to! 🏥 We wrapped up our emergency medicine block with hands on procedural skills including chest tubes placement, cricothyrotomy, and US guided IV’s! 💉 We also practiced applying cervical collars and pelvic binders. 🚒 We made it through our OSCES and are now into our surgery block! ✨ Also shoutout to professor Herndon for the donuts — thank you! 🍩 by @mayo.pa.program
