Every chance I get to showcase the endless possibilities of our Nigerian aso oke fabric, I’m taking it for sure. So when @bellanaija said High Fashion icon, I saw it as an opportunity to remind the world, that’s there’s luxury at home!! This is AFRICA HIGH FASHION!!!

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria. 🇳🇬

You raised me. You shaped me. You taught me resilience.

And while I know there are many things we still have to fix, one thing I will never question is the spirit of the Nigerian people, the ability to stand tall, to keep going, to dream boldly, to build against the odds and somehow find a way.

That spirit lives in me.

I am resilient.
I am bold.
I am courageous.
I am determined.
And I can do all things I set my mind to.

I carry the Nigerian spirit everywhere I go — the strength to begin again, the audacity to dream bigger and the courage to keep moving.

Happy Independence Day to my country, Nigeria. 🇳🇬❤️

May we become everything we know we can be. #nigeriaindependenceday
