Ceres is leveling up. New businesses are moving into the old Walmart parking lot and that means more growth, more jobs, and more reasons to be proud of this city. The Central Valley keeps building. 💪

With only a few games left in the season, YES, WE STILL BELIEVE!

This season has brought victories, challenges, and lessons that go far beyond the football field.

But one thing remains the same. The brotherhood, the commitment, and the willingness to fight for the man next to you.

There’s still work to be done, games to be played, and memories to be made.

No matter what, we finish what we started. TOGETHER.

FAMILY ON ME! FAMILY ON 3!

1… 2… 3… #FAMILY! 🏈

Expanding healthcare access for Ceres families!

I recently had the opportunity to tour Sutter Health’s Ceres Care Center and discuss how they’re growing services in our region.

As your Mayor, ensuring our families have access to quality healthcare close to home is incredibly important.

I’m grateful to Peter at Sutter Health, and Amber Campbell, Division Vice President and Ambulatory CEO for Sutter Health’s Central Valley Division, for meeting with me and sharing insights on the future of healthcare in our region.

A big thank you to the entire Ceres Care Center staff for the warm welcome. The staff was incredible, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to see firsthand the work they do for our community.

Thank you, Sutter Health, for your continued investment in our region. I look forward to exploring opportunities to expand healthcare services here in Ceres.

Together, we continue building a stronger, healthier Ceres!

Public Safety Remains Our Top Priority!

During my recent State of the City Address, I highlighted what our residents have made clear: keeping Ceres safe is a priority.

Even during challenging economic times, we remain committed to protecting essential services, maintaining fast 911 response times, supporting our police officers and first responders, addressing homelessness, and keeping our neighborhoods safe and clean.

Our residents deserve a safe Ceres, and we will continue working to deliver just that.

This weekend, we gave our closest friends and family a little taste of PUBLIC SOCIETY… and let’s just say, the atmosphere was everything we imagined and more. 🔥

The drinks were flowing, the energy was undeniable, and the kind of nights you never want to end? Yeah… we’re just getting started.

Consider this your first glimpse into something you’re going to want to be part of. 🍸✨

The question is… are you ready for us? 👀
Should we finally open our doors to the public? Drop a 🔥 if you want in.

Faith, family, and community at St. Jude’s! 🙏🏽

It was an honor to present a certificate on behalf of the City of Ceres to celebrate the opening of St. Jude’s Family Festival.

As a Catholic, this celebration is especially meaningful to me. St. Jude’s is my parish, and I’m proud to be part of this faith community.

Thank you to the parish staff, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this celebration possible!

Proclaiming Lowrider History Day in the City of Ceres! Watch as we celebrate the car clubs keeping this history alive.

Ceres is proud to be the second city in Stanislaus County to issue this proclamation, recognizing September 26, 2026!

Dating back to the 1940s, lowriding brings together craftsmanship, brotherhood, and family tradition, transforming vehicles into rolling works of art passed down through generations. That history has even earned national recognition with USPS Lowriders Forever stamps!

We welcomed Modesto Impalas, Motown Classic, Ranflas, Slowridin, New Style, and Skanless to City Council to celebrate their contributions to this tradition and our community. Thank you for keeping it alive!

Continue the celebration Saturday, September 26:

📍 History of Lowriding — Downtown Modesto
10 a.m. • Free community event with live entertainment.

📍 Official After Party — Doghouse Taproom
2723 Central Avenue, Ceres • 6 p.m.
Live music by Alexis Frank • 21+ • No cover.
