Isn’t It Something…..a song born out of me experiencing heavy derealization & learning what derealization even is (explained so much lol) & questioning everything I’d ever believed & fearing I might have something clinically wrong with me (in addition to the known issues) 🤡🙂‍↕️…out everywhere now! ⟡˖* ✦⁺˚. *₊

thank you @el.woodbridge for helping me bring this song’s world to life so beautifully✨

as always, Elaine @daughterboardaudio is an icon with the phenomenal mastering 🙌🏻💗

thanks to the universe for continuously making me break down and question reality and my own existence and if anything even feels real😗

🌟💗🌞🧚🏻‍♀️so…I have a new song out called Mediocre. some of you might be like, “that sounds a little familiar🤔,” and some of you already know (& some of you have no clue lol) - I originally released Mediocre in 2022 on my then debut album Emotions Gallery. Long story short, I wasn’t happy with it. Because it *was* Mediocre. And I don’t say this just to be hard on myself. it’s simply a self-fulfilling prophecy: I tell myself I’m mediocre because maybe that’s easier than trying my hardest and still not being good enough, so I hold myself back and doom myself to a self-prescribed fate of mediocrity. Literally only because I told myself I was. this song is about how I make myself mediocre, rather than the question of if other people think I am (let’s keep this to ourselves pls lmao). introspective icon over here

anyways, I owe a huge, enormous, gigantic, more syllables for big thank you to @el.woodbridge for producing this song so beautifully and playing all the instruments and mixing it and putting up with my insanity (sorry for my propensity to be displeased with my hundreds of vocal takes😅). you are amazing, thank you thank you thank you for your talent and patience. 💗✨

Another big thank you to the loveliest Elaine (@daughterboardaudio) for making the track shine with dazzling mastering skills🫶🏻🎧

Last but not least, my bestie @chantelmalin graciously hosted me at her house and waited 2 hours for me to do my makeup so she could take photos of me at 8pm for the cover art. ily so much queen you are so amazing and talented UGH. thank god I finally got to meet your ponies

if you’ve read this far, you’re an icon, certainly not mediocre🌟 please go listen and share and tell everyone you know, esp all the squirrels and buns and chips and birds and trees you see, and then listen again and add to your playlist so you can keep listening every single day ☆ ੈ✩‧₊˚

love (platonically & aesthetically),
Jenna
