Meet Maycie: the aspiring author 😽🤎🍂

Hi guys! I’m Maycie and I haven’t officially introduced myself yet :)

I LOVE reading, and I recently started writing my debut novel, From Throne to Tide. It’s a historical romantasy set in a country inspired by Scotland, featuring royalty, sirens x siren hunters, and a slow burn with intense yearning.

Thank you all for being here and supporting me!

Do you see a pattern here? 📚🤎☕️🍂

There is nothing better than all of these… but which one do you prefer?

If you couldn’t tell, I have a great love for @rhiannonhargadon and @authorsierramac books, along with SO many more authors 📖

Peep the book inspired by H20 Just Add Water? My debut novel might have something to do with that 👀 Stay tuned 😏

@emma.lee.cox.reads I saw your post and thought it was SO cute, so I had to recreate it! I hope you don’t mind 🤎

Wrought in Flesh by @novel.bibliophile was an AMAZING read!

I wanted to take my time with it, and it was so worth it! I’ve found myself rushing through books, but this one I wanted to consume me.

This horror romantasy has magic, monsters, corruption, betrayal, heartbreak, and vengeance.

When I say I am so pissed that I don’t have the second book on me, I mean it 😹

Do yourself a favor and pick both of these books up!

Tallow & Bone Review: this book is a masterpiece 🕯️🍂

This book… Holy, all the emotions that have gone through my body while reading this story — especially the end — is actually insane!

I truly think that @rhiannonhargadon did a phenomenal job with this Salem witch retelling. I haven’t read anything about the Salem witch trials, and I’m proud to say that this book was the first.

I’m honored to have been a part of the ARC team for this book, and I know without a doubt that this is definitely a book I’m going to recommend time and time again.

Here are some things without context that tugged at my heart strings: when “Tallow and bone” was mentioned 😭, turtle doves, Taylor, Clementine, forget me nots, and Amity’s family. All of these tugged at my heart in so many different ways.

Go pick up Tallow & Bone right now. I’m serious
