Before I dive in, let’s be real about something. When I first started UGC and product reviewing, it was something I primarily did during nap time. Now that I’ve scaled my business, that’s literally impossible. 😅 I often stay up late working, my husband takes the kids whenever he can, and now that my son started school this year, I have a little more time to work. But with a growing business and a family, time is EVERYTHING. So here are my top 3 time-saving hacks as a UGC creator! 👇🏼 1. Create reusable templates in Gmail 📩 Did you know you can save email templates directly in Gmail?! I have templates for everythingggg. initial outreach across multiple niches, gifted-to-paid responses, follow-up emails, invoice information, and more. They’re all saved right in my Gmail, so when it’s time to pitch a brand or respond to an email, I don’t have to start from scratch, copy and paste from another document, or rewrite the same thing over and over again. SUCH a time-saver! 2. Keep a running list of hooks and content ideas 💡 See something you love on Instagram? Save it to a SPECIFIC collection! Think hooks, value-driven content, testimonials, storytelling, etc. I have ideas EVERYWHERE. 😂 My Instagram is full of saved collections, I have a Google Sheet packed with hooks and content ideas, and I even have a text thread with myself for those random ideas that pop into my head when I’m on the go. Then, everything eventually gets added to my master idea spreadsheet. That way, when it’s time to plan content, I have SO many ideas to pull from instead of staring at a blank screen wondering what to create! 3. If you edit talking-head videos in CapCut, PLEASE use the Transcript feature! 🎬 This saves me SO much time when editing talking-head videos because I can use the transcript-based editing tools to cut out repeated sentences and filler words (iykyk 😅). Because manually editing all those little pauses, is a full-time job in itself. 😂 Drop your favorite time-saving hack for creators in the comments!
