Nastya taught me so much. Because of her courage I learned to be brave. Because of her knowing her self worth, I learned to value myself. Because of her humility I learned to admit to my mistakes, own up to them, and learn from them. She was so fierce that her personality bled into my soul and made herself part of me. When she was diagnosed we were all devastated. But she stayed strong. she knew she had to keep fighting. She was the one who told everyone not to worry instead of the other way around. When they cut her tongue out she acted like she had the power to grow one back. Even when she couldn’t, she didn’t let it slow her down. She kept fighting.
She’s a big part of why I have the strength I have today.
I’m so grateful to have shared so many experiences with her. From working together through thunderstorms to 100°F+ weather all over the country. We always ended up smiling and dancing at the end of the day and even during the hardest parts of the day.

My eyes are raw from crying on and off in the last 20 hours or so. My arms hurt from punching a bag excessively because I can’t decide if I’d rather exhaust my body or fall apart from the despair of losing someone I cherish.
I didn’t wake up yesterday thinking I was going to lose someone important. Not many people think that way. Unfortunately life has a way of slapping us in the face with brutal realities. Even when it’s the most certain thing in life; Death never comes easy when it happens to people you love.
Appreciate your friends.
Tell them how much you love them.
Be impeccable with your words.

Without an ounce of sarcasm or exaggeration this is one of the best moments of my life. I got to dress up as Chopper while his english VA voiced him live on stage. I can't believe it. Being able to move him according to what @brinakins was saying in the moment was gratifying. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face within the suit if I tried.

In my lightest and darkest of times anime has always met me where I'm at. Being involved in this way has made a lot of hardships in the past couple of years worth it for leading me here. Forever grateful that the first anime gig I did was for One Piece. These fans are loyal to the core and seeing them have a good time in an event I helped with expanded my heart all the way up to skypiea. Thank you @redpegmarketing & @toei_animation for having me! Thank you to my boss babe squad @mel_cakes, @cammielp, @rebecklyn for even considering me to be a part of this and enthusiastically supporting my desire to be Chopper. I could type on but the sentiment will continue to repeat itself and I don't want this to look like some gross AI written caption. So I'll end this with THANK YOU EIICHIRO ODA FOR CREATING SUCH A MAGNIFICENT PIECE OF FICTION 28 YEARS AGO AND FOR CONTINUING TO GIVE IT LOVE!

Spent the day in Altadena, CA chopping trees that have fallen from the strong winds with some festival fam today. Grateful to have enough energy and time at this moment to jump in and help out with fire relief in any way. Shout out to @thenoiseacademy.prdctn and @sbjct.co for getting the materials and info needed to get our team going.

Typical. I have severe anxiety on my bday. I'm trying to absorb the bird songs and mountains and not fall in too deep a thought of wondering how I've made it this far. I'm alive. There's parts of me that are grateful for that. Lately the parts that keep wondering why I survived when people like my brother didn't have become louder than the usual whispers in the back of my head. Last night at midnight I went outside. I sat alone. I looked at the stars. I wept. Looking up into the vastness then looking down toward the lights of the nearby city. It's all the same. We are so miniscule in the grand scheme of things. Nothing we do matters... And here retains the cycle. Because when nothing we do matters, the fact that we still do the things- it makes it matter.

This is a long winded way of me saying that I'm not okay. I haven't been okay for a long time. I've been my worst enemy and I keep cultivating the culture of keeping it that way. I'm doing my best to change it. I have hope. I know I will be fine. I know that there are people out there who love me even when I can't find reasons to love myself. Therefore I'll be okay. I know I'm one of the lucky ones to feel that kind of warmth. I will never take that for granted.

For the first time in my history with Perimeter Operations (2013-present) we took our team photo in the venue. 🥹

Every year I experience this team I level up in so many ways. I come out stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically. I hone past skills and gain new ones. This year was especially challenging as I had to manage the department for the first time with none other than @tomytwostep. Being out here for a month consistently working is not for the faint of heart. This team had each others' back. They rose up to the challenges that popped up and problem solved as a unit. Many were new. Many returned. And many succeeded. I am so proud to be part of this group of humans. There's no single word that could describe my Coachella Stagecoach experience with this crew. To keep it as short as I can I'll simply say; Thank you for the amazing work, team. I'm tearing up writing this because I truly mean it. Thank you.
