2025 vs 2026. Last October I could barely walk to the end of our street. This October I cycled 300km up the Adriatic coast with Dad. I remember so clearly laying in the hospital bed dreaming of getting back on my bike. I'm thankful and proud of making it a reality 🤍 by @mazzok

April, a full and fabulous month. A trip to Belgium with @emmaparis to watch Tour of Flanders but it was really to catch up and have a needed girls weekend ✨Then a visit from @jenn195 and realizing the time together was more important than trying to cram in as much sightseeing as possible in three short days 🫶🏼 And finally... I was able to get back on my bike after some years of my body not cooperating. A top month really. by @mazzok

For anyone curious about no. 10 :: this is a photo of a truck stop along the US Mexico border. The thousands of migratory birds are free to fly over the border anytime. But humans cannot. Human beings have created so many rules and systems that are contrary to nature.. it's just an image that has stayed with me for a few days by @mazzok

First proper ride since my atomic lower back meltdown last November. In a down year where life has felt mostly directionless, these last 5 months have not been the best.. But today I rode a slow hour in the warm sun and I could smile and breathe deeply. Still so so far to go, but there's a hint of Spring inside and out 😌 by @mazzok

Images from last week's mini bikepacking adventure to Tuscany. Traveling by bike is always the best reminder that the world is not only what we see in the news. The world is still beautiful and full of good, kind people, trying to enjoy life even when things seem the most difficult ❤️

I don't post here too often. Especially not photos of myself. Middle age is doing some weird shit to my body. Despite a whole lot of bike riding, including over 300km last week, I weigh more than I ever have.. But I'm proud of the person I see in this photo, riding this hard hot hilly 100km gravel ride. So I'm posting this photo as a reminder to myself: try to not worry about what you look like in the mirror, and instead be grateful for this body that can still ride a bike pretty far. by @mazzok

One of the prettiest yet hardest rides I've done in a long time. Some of the descents were really on the limit of what I'm technically comfortable with, and there were some ridiculous gradients where i had to get off and push.. but just so happy to be out here exploring new trails and playing in the dirt.

Slow start to 2022 with a crash just before the new year, but slowly starting to get some longer kms in now. The sun of course helps everything ☀️
