WE WEATHERED THE STORM! 💪

After 12 days without power, Humes & Berg is back up and running at 100%!

Huge thanks to NIPSCO, the East Chicago Fire Department, our first responders, and our incredible employees for keeping us moving forward. We couldn’t have done it without you!

To our friends, employees, artists, dealers, customers and the entire Humes & Berg family—thank you for continuing to reach out and check on us.

HB has been without power since tornadoes and 100+ mph winds devastated our area last Tuesday. Last night, when power was turned back on to our street, a massive electrical explosion caused several fires.

Thankfully, everyone at HB is safe and our building is okay for now. However, we remain without power, production is completely shut down, and our employees are unable to work.

The devastation throughout our region is unbelievable. Communities are flooded, and many grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and businesses within a 40-mile radius remain without power.

We appreciate your prayers, patience and support as we work through this difficult time. After 91 years, Humes & Berg knows how to weather a storm—and we’ll be back. 💪🥁

Wow… on May 15th, 1935, my grandfather had a dream — a vision to change the world through music. With passion, innovation, and heart, he founded Humes and Berg Mfg Co Inc and began crafting the legendary New Stone Lined mutes for the Glenn Miller Orchestra, helping shape the sound of the Big Band Era itself.

91 years later, that dream still echoes around the world.

A legacy built on family, craftsmanship, innovation, and the love of music continues stronger than ever. ❤️🥁
