POSTS STORIES REELS

The picture isn’t clear yet, and I’ve had to admit that nothing but trusting God will carry me through.

So my days look like talking to Him in the morning, in traffic, at my desk, and before I sleep. Because outside of Him, the world gets loud and the pressure can suffocate. 😮‍💨

If God is holding the clock, I can stop trying to rush it.

If you’re waiting too, stay close. Commune with Him in every moment, not just the big ones. You don’t have to see the whole picture to trust the One who does.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). 📖

🤭…if you’ve still not done your quiet time, this is a quick reminder

Have a fruitful day❤️❤️ by @mbama.h

To every corporate Christian girlie , Jesus did not ask you to blend in at work. 😭😅

There is a temptation to compartmentalise. To be Christian on Sunday and just professional Monday to Friday. To tone it down because the office feels like the wrong room for it.
But today my colleague @iam_omeche reminded me of something simple and powerful, carry Jesus wherever you are. No matter how short the period. No matter how professional the setting.

Leave them with the Jesus effect.
Not a sermon at every meeting. Just the undeniable evidence of something different about you. The way you handle pressure. The way you treat people. The peace that does not make sense given your workload.

Matthew 5:14 says we are the light of the world. Not just your church. The world. Which includes your office. 🤍
You were not placed there to blend in. You were placed there to shine. 🙏🏾“

I knowwww😭😂😂, I got it wrong. And I left it in on purpose. 😅

I got the inspiration on my way to work and recorded it right there. I didn’t have my facts straight: I quoted the wrong scripture and made the wrong quote. While editing, I did my homework and learnt something. The quote belongs to Martin Luther King Jr., and the scripture? Colossians 3:23

I could have re-recorded and made it look polished. But you’d have missed the lesson.

Gurllll, you don’t have to have it all figured out before you start. The inspiration may come at 7am in traffic. Your first version might be messy and your facts might be off. Do it afraid anyway. Share it, then learn, correct and grow in public, because a humble correction is better than a perfect video that never gets made. 🔥

Being teachable is part of the calling. Just stay committed to the truth, and when you find out you were wrong, fix it with grace and keep going.

What’s one thing you’ve been waiting to “get right” before you start?

The battle does not stop. If anything, you become more aware of it.

Your flesh and your spirit are in a constant tug of war, and at different stages of your journey with God, the tension looks different. Sometimes it is the big obvious things. Sometimes it is the subtle, daily things that nobody else would even notice unless you mention.

This body is temporary housing. And what we do with it. matters far beyond what we can see right now.

Galatians 5:17 says the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict. That is not a bug in your faith journey. It is part of it.

So the question is not whether you will face the battle. The question is what you are willing to sacrifice to keep choosing the right side of it. 🙏🏾
Romans 8:13 If by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

“But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people will be my people, and your God, my God.”

God didn’t just give you a vision o , He invited you into a partnership.
We’re called “God’s fellow workers” (1 Corinthians 3:9), and Jesus literally taught us to pray “your kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

Heaven’s plans get worked out on earth through people who say yes and keep going. Sadly, many of us quit, and often right before the harvest. Anxiety creeps in. Faith gets tired. Good news is that, Galatians 6:9 says we’ll reap in due season if we don’t give up.

So let’s make this practical:
📖 Constantly go back to what God said. Write down the word or direction He gave you. Doubt is loudest when we forget the instructions.

🙏🏾 Hand over the anxious thoughts to God

🛌 Rest but don’t quit. Tired is not the same as finished.

✍🏾 Take the next small step you can muster up

🤝 Find someone who’ll remind you of the what and why

You may be closer than you think.

It’s so easy to live on what we’re fed: the Sunday sermon, the viral clip, the quote on your timeline, the voice note from a friend. Those can bless us, but they were never meant to replace our own time with Him.

Spend intentional time with Him. Open the Word yourself. Sit with it, ask questions, pray over it, and let the Holy Spirit make it plain. Not to collect knowledge, but to receive revelation.

When you know the Word for yourself, you’re hard to confuse. Every new voice, trend, or “fresh teaching” gets weighed against what you already know to be true.

So this week, put the phone down for a little while and pick the Word up. Ten quiet, intentional minutes is a start.

$Permit me to put something into perspective for a second? The time we have here on earth, as full and as heavy as it feels, is only a fraction of eternity . A tiny, fleeting, blink of a fraction. Yet, we forget. Constantly. We get so buried in the busyness, the comparison, the anxiety about what is not working yet, the weight of seasons we did not ask for,and we forget that this is not the whole story. That there is so much more on the other side of this. And one day we will stand before God and this life will have been the introduction. Question is, am I living in a way that I would be at peace presenting to Him? The beautiful part is God is not standing at the end of your life waiting to evaluate you from a distance. He is in every single stage of it. Jeremiah 29:13 says when you search for Him with all your heart, you will find Him. In the confusion of your twenties. In the rebuilding after loss. In the ordinary Monday evening when nothing feels significant. In the stage of life you are in right now, He is there. God wants you to live. And live well. Not just survive until eternity. But actually live, with depth, with intention, with Him, until you get there. 🤍 Still becoming ❤️🥹 #explore #faith #christianreels #growth by @mbama.h$

Last year, I made a post for corporate Christian girlies eventhough I wasn’t working a corporate job then. This year? I’m in it. 😭 So yes, I had to sit down and listen to my own sermon. 😂

Adjusting to a new schedule has not been easy. Waking up early, eating well, resting, sleeping on time, and still making space for God, all while Accra traffic tests my sanctification every single morning. 😩🥹😂

So today I’m encouraging you the same way I’m encouraging myself: don’t let a busy schedule push God to the bottom of your list. Your quiet time doesn’t have to be an hour-long, candle-lit, perfectly worship-playlisted moment. Ten honest minutes with Him before the day grabs you is enough. Some mornings it might even happen in the car, in traffic, with your Bible app on. God is not counting how aesthetic it was. He’s counting your heart.

We’re not doing perfect. We’re doing consistent, one grace-filled morning at a time. ❤️

I’m Mbamah, and I’m still becoming. ✨

Corporate girlies, what’s one thing helping you stay consistent with God amidst your busy schedule? Drop it below, someone needs your tip. 👇🏾

If he’s married, he’s not available. Not “separated in everything but name.” Not “it’s complicated.” Not “his marriage is already dead.”

No story, however convincing it sounds, changes the fact that there is a home, and possibly children, on the other side of that situation.

The attention feels sweet, the conversations feel deep but sometimes the most loving thing you can do for yourself is to walk away before your heart is too invested.

Ask yourself this: would you want someone to do this to your home? To your future husband, or to your mother? The Bible puts it simply: treat others the way you would want to be treated (Matthew 7:12). And Hebrews 13:4 reminds us that marriage is to be honoured by all. That includes the marriage of someone else.

Walking away won’t always feel good. It might even hurt. But what you’re guarding is more than someone else’s home. It’s your peace, your integrity, and the kind of love God is preparing for you, one that doesn’t have to be hidden.

Trust Him with your waiting season ❤️
