Been a big @andyshauf fan for a while, so I was honored to animate the music video for his awesome song Halloween Store. It’s also my first film that’s animated on paper (about 90% not counting comping). Something about that feels really significant to me. Thanks for the sick creative direction from @haddad_v and and @kelpmgmt!! I’ll throw a link in my bio as well. :) would love to hear your thoughts

Helped some @gunneranimation friends with cel/character animation on a weird little film. I specifically helped flesh out the animatic and animated Dr. Sesamoid, except for the animation on the close up! Make sure to tune in to “Sweaters by Margaret” too ;) Thank you for the trust guys. It feels strange to post anything light right now with everything happening in Chicago. 💔❤️‍🩹 My heart’s been heavy seeing what’s going on with ICE raids and the city’s tension.

But this project meant a lot to me, and I wanted to share it. I made the exit animation for @zachlanebryan Quittin’ Time Tour last year, which played across stadium screens. So it’s been sitting on my drive way too long because… how do you even crop something that wide?? 😅

🌀Huge thanks to the amazing director @bongoboy for bringing me on board — I’ve admired his work for years and was so excited to be a part of this.🙏

✨ Back in July, I was invited by Maris Jones Productions to animate assets for Chappell Roan’s European Tour. The show was beautifully art directed and designed by Maris and her team, with stunning inspiration from Fantasia and Fantastic Planet. I only animated her amazing creatures and assets, but it was truly a dream come true to be part of a beautifully crafted production.

… and that ain’t even the half of it!

Here’s a celebratory “freelance anniversary reel”, showcasing some bits and pieces of work I’ve directed, designed, and animated since going full time freelance in 2023. I can’t even believe it’s almost been two full years… time really flies. 🪰🪰🪰

A special thanks to everyone who has responded to an email, shared some advice, and given me a chance to collaborate! Also gotta give the obligatory shoutout… I’m available for work! 🤪 I have direct experience with every point in the project pipeline including direction, pitch, concept, design, and animation, with a specialization in hand drawn and 2D character animation.
