#ubneurosurgery #backsurgeryrecovery #imgettingthere - Six weeks post op today!! I’m feeling much better- walking much better- using my cane more than the walker- I can wean off from wearing the bulky brace around my middle- all amazing!! Still not able to bend, lift, or twist but that’s all ok- I am getting reevaluated for PT next Wednesday so back to my old routine which is going to be great! I made the right decision- I thank God for guiding me and giving me the strength to see this through- thanks to my family and friends for all their love and support. #ubns #backsurgeryrecovery #icandohardthings - This is me, two weeks post op- standing up straight- walking with minimal pain- thanking God for family and friends who are walking this journey with me- opening a new chapter and praying that with each new day I will walk a few steps further than the day before- I am grateful to Dr. Fahrbach @ub_neurosurgery for his support and encouragement and his outstanding expertise in this field- he has been there for me along with his staff since my accident in 2017. He and the staff @ub_neurosurgery pain management have helped me live my life to the fullest, encouraging me every step of the way. In 4 weeks, hopefully, I will begin Physical Therapy!
