It would be a mistake not to start my Gov Ball coverage with @chappellroan. She was easily a highlight of the festival basically headlining Day 3 in the middle of the day - a true queen!

So excited to be showing my work during Gowanus Open Studios again this weekend! I’ll be at Craftspring HQ at 505 Carroll St on Oct. 17th and 18th from 12-6pm with a lot of new prints!!

All prints are original and I made so many. I found these amazing tags at @brooklyncreativereuse (highly recommend btw) and was inspired to make one-of-a-kind mini prints out of some old photos of mine. It’s been a little over a year of experimenting with cyanotype and I’m still learning but what I do know is that it has really taught me to appreciate slowing down and experiencing the process.

Swipe for a sneak peek at what I’ll be showing and for a photo of my furry cyanotype assistant ☺️ Hope to see you this weekend! by @mblitzphoto

When @allthingsgo was forced to cancel its NYC edition this past weekend due to the nor’easter, organizers quickly stepped up to bring fans an impromptu night at @brooklynsteel with two of the fest’s artists: @whereismuna (who were scheduled to headline ATG on Sunday) and @hemlockesprings.

Photographer Merissa Blitz—who was set to cover ATG NYC for FLOOD—was there to document the night.

Swipe for highlights and hit the link in our bio for more.

So glad I got to catch @augustponthier at SummerStage last week. I missed them when they played there a couple years ago and being able to experience their talent finally was a joy!

@stlucia put on an incredible performance earlier this week. Another nostalgic band I listened to a lot in my 20s. This week really brought me back to all the music I started discovering when I first moved to NYC.

It was a truly special night on Tuesday finally getting to see and photograph @youngthegiant. An incredibly nostalgic show for 20-something Merissa.
