Finally got the Miata back from the body shop. Got the little rocker rust fixed for good, and paint matched the Mazdaspeed lip while they were at it. There's still a lot of little things to button up, but I'm excited to get some seat time with this thing. It's already so much fun and there's not even boost yet 😁😁

Finally got around to doing a real shakedown. Drove this thing to work and to the body shop and got in about 3 hours of total driving. Still a few little things to tidy up but I can actually trust this thing now. Not a single drop of fluids leaking, and man it feels so good to drive!

Built some new coilovers for the front. Backs are almost done 🙂

I couldn't bring myself to put this thing back together with those crusty looking headlights 🤢
But "while you're in there" might as well pull the housings apart and black out the insides (aside from the actual reflectors of course). It's not perfect but looks great compared to the yellow faded original ones!

Got the whole rear end back together (minus some missing sway bar bushings) and this is coming out really clean. Zak nailed the bumper cut and the raw clear coated bash bar is definitely a big mood. It's pretty satisfying taking your time and doing everything right. It's a lot of "while you're in there" kinda stuff but something to be proud of in the end. Big shout-out again to @zak7777 for the free labor and shop hangs
