It’s a doubleheader not to be missed @thegrandcroton on June 10. #bigdrawbluegrass is proudly opening for the @nyknicks Game 4! Note the special early 7 P.M. start time, and reserve your tables, stools and high tops now because The Grand will have the game up on the big screen right after our set. Thanks again to all who have come out, supported and picked with us for this special residency. We’ve got all the usual starters in for next week, plus recently minted @intlbluegrass board member @austinscelzo bringing that #joshhart nonstop hustle back to the Grand for his third appearance with us! Expect some other surprise ballers popping up for this one too. Bluegrass Night will be off for July and August, but we can’t wait to be back in the fall. #westchesterbluegrass #knicksnation #croton by @mbqbass

Psyched to be back at The Grand in Croton Wednesday, May 13, at 8 P.M. If you’ve been on the fence about checking out Big Draw & Friends Bluegrass Night, here’s about a minute featuring @dchernack and Croton’s own @deckelbaumron to show you all the fun we’re having. This week, we’ve got these guys plus @mbqbass debuting a classic #tonyrice number and featured guest - on loan from our buds at @bugsonalog - Jeff Smith. He’s ready to slide his way into your heart with some smooth dobro work and baritone vocals. See you there! #bigdrawbluegrass #oldandintheway #hudsonvalleybluegrass #banjo by @mbqbass
Join us next Wednesday, May 13, back @thegrandcroton for Big Draw & Friends Bluegrass Night. This month we are psyched to feature multi-instrumentalist and singer Jeff Smith. Jeff is a member of @bugsonalog and @timothybluegrass - two of our favorite CT based string bands - and he also makes killer custom guitar and mandolin picks (available at picksmith.net). If you made it out to our magical night with @meelsmusic last month, you may have seen Jeff hop in with us for the closer, but next week you’ll have the pleasure of hearing a whole lot more from him. And if you missed last month, swipe away for some great shots of the evening. Endless thanks again to all who came out and especially to #bigdrawbluegrass brothers @deckelbaumron and @mbqbass as well as @austinscelzo and @lana.auerbach for learning a ton of Meels tunes for the show. See you in a week! #hudsonvalleybluegrass #crotononhudson #thegrandcroton by @mbqbass

Woah. Dream night @thegrandcroton sending off our dear @meelsmusic as she hits the road with #nittygrittydirtband tonight! Closed the show on this appropriate number, and here’s Meelsie ripping the verse about tailgating the hearse. Jokes and feelings on religion and what happens after we’re gone aside, this song for me is all about the connection of family and friends while we’re here. Thank you to EVERYONE who came from near and far to support #bigdrawbluegrass and our girl. You guys packed the house and I love you. Special thanks to @mbqbass @deckelbaumron @lana.auerbach and @austinscelzo who departed from our usual tune list to learn a slew of (great) original Meels tunes and also to @daveg144 and Jeff Smith for jumping in from the crowd and joining us on this one and others. Last thank you to all the folks sending me photos and videos from the night (@heathercrellingbouza sent me this one). Please keep them coming as we plan to celebrate and remember this one for a long time. by @mbqbass
We’ve got a big ‘ol secret surprise guest @thegrandcroton rolling down the river in a homemade boat to join us for Second Wednesday Bluegrass Night. Link in bio to see who and get tickets while you can! PS - we got two of CT’s finest fiddlers on board too just in case you need a cherry on top! #bigdrawbluegrass #hudsonvalleybluegrass #westchesterbluegrass by @mbqbass
