Everyone’s posting about their perfectly planned out 2025 and it got me thinking about March 2019, when I left my cushy TV anchor job… 4 months pregnant with my third baby in 3 years…with a few good opportunities but absolutely NO business plan😅

I just had that gut feeling that something needed to change💡

Plot twist: That terrifying leap? It led me exactly where I needed to be. Through COVID home-filming chaos, diaper changes between TV segments, and accidentally discovering my love for helping others shine on camera…I learned the biggest lesson of my career: sometimes the best chapters of your story come from the moments when you have absolutely nothing figured out 💥

So if you’re feeling that New Year pressure to have your whole 2025 mapped out… BREATHE. The magic often happens in the messy middle, in the pivot you never saw coming, in the ‘what am I even doing?’ moments.
(And hey, if I could figure it out with three kids 3 and under, you’ve GOT this! 💪)

🎥 Giving you a peek at what an at-home shoot day looks like 👀

90 percent of it is the PREP- the props, set-up, practice, getting ready, making sure the shot looks great and that the products shine for my clients ✨

I’m now 5 years into doing this kind of work, and I still love the creativity it affords me and the way my lifestyle segments are able pull together my various skill sets 📺

Twelve years ago today, I became a mother for the first time.

Charlotte was my first pregnancy, my first labor, my first everything in the world of motherhood. After a fast and normal delivery, she was born with breathing complications. Doctors worked on her for two hours but they couldn’t save her.

I’ve shared her story every year since…sometimes in detail, sometimes just a photo and a candle.

This year I keep thinking about something that strikes me as so surreal. So many of the people closest to me in my everyday life right now…my mom friends, my work friends, the families we do everyday life with…they never knew me before. They didn’t know the version of me that existed before Charlotte. And I carry that quietly. This whole defining, life-changing experience lives inside me, and the people passing me in the school pickup line have no idea.

I think that’s true for a lot of us who’ve experienced loss. You just… keep going. You build a whole life. And you carry it all at the same time.

I wear her on my wrist every day…my bracelet that says “keep going.” Around my neck, a little gold pendant with the imprint of her tiny toe. Most people never ask what either mean. But now you know.

If you’ve experienced pregnancy or infant loss, I see you. You are not alone. And your baby is not forgotten.

She existed. She was loved. She still is.

First day of school drop-off ✅

Now I’m standing here thinking… okay. It’s go time.

I spent this summer intentionally slower. More family time, fewer commitments. Not by accident — by choice. It’s literally why I built my business this way.

But September has a way of hitting different when Q4 is staring you in the face.

If you’ve been quieter this summer — on camera, in your business, in your content — this is your reminder that you don’t need a dramatic comeback or a perfect new strategy.

You just need one useful thing to say. Say it. Then do it again tomorrow.

Confidence comes back through reps. Not through waiting until you feel ready. 🤍
