Our boy Zack is officially off to college 🙌🏾🙏🏾 and whew, your mama heart is doing cartwheels and crying happy tears at the same time. We are so proud of you, son. You’ve worked hard, stayed focused, and now it’s your moment to shine.

Your village is cheering loud, praying strong, and standing right behind you.

As we wind down these last couple of weeks before you begin your next chapter, my heart is full.
First, I thank God for the blessing He’s placed over your life — a full academic scholarship to Louisiana Tech University to study Engineering Construction. This opportunity reflects the side of you that many never see: your discipline, your quiet determination, your resilience, and the way you keep pushing even when no one is watching.

Zack, you’ve earned every bit of what’s ahead of you.

I also want to thank every person who has poured into you along the way — teachers, coaches, mentors, family, friends, and our community. Your investment, encouragement, and prayers helped shape the young man we’re celebrating today.

If you’d like to wish him well or join us as we send him off with love, support, and pride, we welcome you.

I lost a king, a soldier, a ganster, a hustler, a thug, a great soul, a great man, a great leader, and a OG, who is my blood brother Robert Johnson. I am lost for words right now… RIP my oldest brother. You will truly be missed. I love you so much Foe Five…. by @mbsbbque

We’re excited to invite you to The Official Unwind Social: Homecoming Edition Sunday, November 2nd at Hillside Social! Hosted by Strong StrideZ & MB’s BBQ

While you’re there, we’ll be collecting donations of coats, warm winter wear, and canned goods. These items will go directly toward our Thanksgiving Giveback on November 22nd, where Strong StrideZ and MB’s BBQ will provide warm meals, fresh haircuts, coats, and pantry staples to veterans in need at the Veteran Resource Center.

This is our chance to serve those who have served us. Together, we can make sure our veterans feel the dignity, care, and gratitude they deserve this holiday season.

📍 Meet us at the Unwind Social, bring a donation, and be part of something bigger than one evening—it’s about impact that lasts.
