When Reese is creating, recording, performing, selling his merchandise, or working on mbsforreal and Moving Beyond Struggles LLC, his entire spirit lights up. This is where I see his confidence. This is where I see his determination. And this is where I see the possibility of him building something that is truly his own.

As he approaches 25, my hope isn’t simply that Reese finds a job. My hope is that he finds his path—a way to use his music, creativity, merchandise, graphic design skills, and the business he is building to create meaningful work and, ultimately, earn a living doing something where he can thrive.

That is a huge part of why this fundraiser means so much to me.

I may not have connections in the music industry or know all the right people to call but I refuse to stop looking for ways to help my son be heard and give him opportunities to share his talent with the world ❤️‍🩹

As a mom it’s heartbreaking to watch your child struggle every day just to feel okay. People see the music and the dreams but they don’t always see the struggles behind them or how hard he works to keep moving forward.

That’s why I’m doing what I can to help him get his name out there and why I’m taking on Run Disney in January alongside him to raise funds for the @flutiefdn and the work they do to support autistic individuals and their families.
