From player to coach to conference assistant of the year, it’s bittersweet to see her departure. Zegar will pursue a much larger role in a full time role away from the sidelines.

Thank you Coach Zegar for all of your passion, effort, and energy. We wish you the best on your new adventure!

As a student-athlete Zegar earned All-KCAC First Team Defense (2024) and NAIA All-American Third Team Defense (2024), along with All-Heart First Team Defense (2025) and NAIA All-American First Team Defense (2025). Following her playing career, she worked as an assistant with MBU where she was named Heart of America Conference Assistant Coach of the Year, as well as assisted the Pattonville High School program from which she graduated.
