Maranatha isn’t a big school.
.
Not even close.
.
We like it that way. It’s one of those things that makes the place what it is - a small school with a big heart. For ministry, for the Lord, and for each other.
.
These pics kind of tell that story. It might surprise you that these aren’t victory scenes- these ladies fought for two hours and ultimately took a tough loss to Beloit in their home opener, but that didn’t dampen our spirits. Even after the final point dropped, our fans stayed. They lined up, like they always do, and sent them off with a tunnel salute. And of course, this came after all the yelling, the traditional roller coaster, and all the non-posery that makes this place what it is.
.
Season after season. Night after night. And game after game.
.
We’re not a big school.
.
But pound for pound, person for person, when our team takes the floor, we just might be one of the loudest.
