This was one for the books! Getting to MC in front of the King of Dance, an Icon we all grew up watching, and an inspiration to multiple generations- was a dream come true. When I took this selfie @prabhudevaofficial told me I did amazing as a host, hence the hand on shoulder and that look on his face 😅 - still feels surreal. Framing this picture, and never washing this shirt lol. by @mc.geevez

"Before there was MC Geevez, I used to make rappers look like NPC's"

A few years ago I was invited to compete alongside 9 other top Toronto rappers on an open cypher. I went last, and this was the result. Those with me in the trenches those days know the choke hold we had on the game. Maybe it's time to dust off the mic again..

I wrote the blueprint, you just reading the draft,
I seen trends come and go, I just sit back and laugh.
While you chasing the streams and the overnight clout,
I’m the OG they call when the real bars come out.

Here it is, everyone—the most anticipated video from Kothu Fest 2026! 🎉

Never did I imagine I’d be on stage dancing alongside @mayoroliviachow ! What made the moment even more special was seeing her wholeheartedly embrace our culture, jump into the dance, follow every step, and simply enjoy the moment with all of us.

Thank you, Mayor Olivia Chow, for your incredible support of our community and for celebrating the diversity that makes Toronto so special. Your willingness to participate and connect with our culture meant so much to everyone there.

Moments like these remind us that culture has the power to bring people together, create lasting memories, and build stronger communities.
