I stepped onto the stage and saw angry faces looking at me as if I were the reason for the delay outside the event hall. I had to calmly apologize to them so they could forgive me on behalf of the offenders 🤣. The entry process took a while (based on instructions from the couple), which made some guests who arrived early wait up to two hours before finally gaining entry. I felt their pain, and all I could do was begin the event this way. It took a while, but trust me to crack the nut, as we all later had a beautiful experience.

At #Moshola2026, I had an unexpected addition to the programme!

I wasn’t aware that the Distinguished Senator, Dr. Yunus Abiodun Akintunde, representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, would be attending. So, when he arrived, I had to put a few things together on the spot and give him the recognition his presence deserved.

The interesting part is keeping it calm and seamless while my mind was doing a little extra work behind the scenes. 😂

That’s one part of being an MC people don’t always see. Thinking quickly, getting the details right, maintaining composure, and making the moment feel natural.

The plan may change, but the delivery must still be on point.
