I don’t know what’s going on with my “Facebook targeted ad algorithm,” but there’s definitely a ghost in the machine. Peter Potty? Ken(s) and Barbie? An adult-sized swing? Heels that are covered in fringe and look remarkably like horse hooves?

Oh, and when did Barbie’s arms get jointed and her arches drop? Is it me, or does it look like Barbie just gave up? She’s put on a few pounds and is looking pretty frumpy these days, but I guess it happens to the best of us. by @mccaintami

Local friends, I thought I'd ask here before I put these items on marketplace: I have 3 desks (the glass tops have some minor scratches and the white wooden desk has a large chip in front), two identical rolling desk chairs (excellent condition- nearly new) and 1 Weber grill (needs new grates) that need new homes. Oh, FedEx…Here we go again. This latest package (which was delivered open) you’ve exposed to the elements includes dog and cat food. Thank you for dumping it as close to the curb as possible, yet in the middle of the wet driveway. UPS would never do this to me…🤬 by @mccaintami

Our project this weekend (and likely next) is painting and updating Maggie’s room.

To say we have opened Pandora’s Box is an understatement. Maggie is a hardcore collector of things, but when she finds another obsession, that collection goes by the wayside, never to be touched again.

I say this because if anyone is looking for large Disney snowglobes, Peanuts memorabilia, Build-A-Bear or lop-eared bunnies (framed and canvas for the wall), we are your source.

We also are in the process of getting her (and actually myself as well) a new desk. So, if you are looking for a plain white writing desk or a glass top desk (we have 2) with some adorable patterned desk chairs that are in excellent condition. I can send you photos if you are interested.

Update on Maggie’s friend Kayla that had surgery last week:💛

Kayla has been diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer of the bile ducts that has spread to her lymph nodes.

When she was here a week and a half ago, she had a picc line and was on 24-hour bags of antibiotics. Nothing slowed her down. This girl ran circles around us and was the life of the party.

Kayla has her first oncology appointment tomorrow, and I am posting this update to make a prayer request for this sweet girl and her family. They could really use them right now. Thank you.💕🙏🏻 by @mccaintami

Max may have had a rugby match last night, but the real star of the evening was Big Mac. Biggie picked up 4 softball girls and half a sorority at the match. He spent most of his time on his back getting loved on and had endless belly rubs. by @mccaintami

In complete contrast to yesterday, Maggie and I went to Berea College today to see the Tibetan Monks working on their mandala. If you’re local, this is an incredible experience to watch- and it’s free! They will also have a closing ceremony on Friday as well as a few other events this week. Berea College. by @mccaintami

We went to the Make-A-Wish alumni event today at Evans Orchard and Cider Mill and had a fantastic time! So many fun activities and the orchard was exclusively to former Wish families this morning. Maggie even got to create two pieces of artwork that will be auctioned off at their next gala to help raise funds for them.

We are beyond grateful for Make-A-Wish and the incredible people who make events like this happen. All these years after Maggie’s wish was granted, they are still doing wonderful things for Wish families. 💕💕💕
