In 5 months my life has completely changed and not for the better. I’m broken in ways I never thought were possible. I’ve lost my dad, my dog, my mom, and now my lifelong friend of 21 years… my soul sister. I can’t believe you are gone Kath. You knew me better than anyone else in this world, and you were my anchor through every single high and low. Words cannot describe the emptiness I feel, but I am beyond grateful for the lifetime of laughter and deep bond we shared. I lost my beautiful mom on Thursday. I’m still just numb. Within 3 months my heart has been completely shattered. I didn’t know this type of pain existed. Losing one parent is tough, but losing both is unbearable. I love you all forever and a day. 💔✨🪽 by @mccalmo

Eight weeks ago today my life changed forever. I’m numb…just existing. Those that know say you’re better off now. You’ve been reunited with your one true love, and I truly believe you’re with Carol. But my heart and my head are not on the same page. There are no words that can heal my heart. Two weeks after you took your last breath, I lost my sweet squishy boy Jax. You used to tease me that you were going to come steal “your best friend” and that he was going to be your dog. After losing Jax my heart shattered into a million pieces, it’s just too much. Time seems to be standing still for me..that day just repeats over and over. Today is the first Father’s Day without you. I wasn’t ready. I still needed you, but God had other plans.
So today I hope my wishes reach you… Happy Father’s Day in heaven Dad, give my boy a hug & kiss. I love you both forever and a day 💜🪽✨ by @mccalmo

A little over a year ago what started as a challenge to make my mom an 80th birthday gift has now turned into a passion. I absolutely love crocheting and the joy it brings with each piece.
