I just appreciate spending time with you so much. I know how busy your schedule always is, but getting to share a special weekend dinner just to hang out and be loving means everything to me. I love going out for incredible Italian food, but my favorite part is always just being with you. ⚠️ The Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale (My Personal Experience)
🚨 This review reflects my personal experience and opinions only.
I rarely write negative reviews, but after everything that happened, I feel obligated to share my experience so that friends and family can make informed decisions before spending their hard-earned money.
💔 I planned this trip months in advance as a surprise for my husband.
He had been working nonstop for months under intense professional pressure, and my goal was simple: give him a peaceful weekend away from work where he could relax, recharge, and simply enjoy life for a few days.
This wasn't just another hotel stay.
This was supposed to be a special getaway for someone I love.
✨ Because of how important this trip was, I planned ahead, communicated accommodation requests before arrival, and truly believed we were in for the luxury experience that a Curio Collection property promises.
Unfortunately, that is not what happened.
Instead of relaxation, the weekend became increasingly stressful and disappointing.
From the beginning of the stay, concerns arose that I repeatedly attempted to address through the proper channels. I communicated concerns while on property, escalated through Hilton channels, contacted Diamond Member support, and continued trying to resolve matters after the stay.
❌ What disappointed me most was not that problems existed.
Every hotel can have problems.
What matters is how those problems are handled.
In my opinion, that is where this experience failed.
Despite my efforts to work directly with the property and Hilton, I never felt that the core concerns were truly understood or meaningfully addressed.
The property ultimately provided service recovery credits, which acknowledged that problems occurred, but those credits did not restore the experience that had already been lost.
😔 What should have been a memorable weekend became a weekend spent trying to solve problems instead of enjoying the time together.
As a long-time Hilton Honors Diamond member, I expected significantly better from a property carrying both the Hilton and Curio Collection names.
