The experiments continue! The goalie head was done entirely with the blue / purple color shift spray. The Evo was sprayed with the blue, the red, and the yellow, but the head started as navy blue. Even though the can says you have to spray it on black I wanted to experiment. Turns out they are right. I'm still working on stringing the Mark 2V, and I'll report back on durability after I get a chance to play with it and knock it around a bit. by @mccoolsdyeshop

Fresh from the lab, this cosmic paint job is experimenting with a new product I saw in Michael's called Color Shift, by Rust-Oleum. They tell you to spray it on a black background so I dyed the head first, but I want to try it again over some kind of navy/black fade. Durability is still undecided, but I'll keep you updated on that. The paint comes out smelling like nail polish, so I would imagine a similar durability to fingernail paint. If it gets chipped, I guess you could just respray it since it's over the black.

I resisted paint for the longest time, but @mr_wand_erful inspired me with the crazy splatter jobs he's been doing (that I'm just assuming are paint). Need some suggestions for what pocket would help complete the theme and reaffirm our commitment to Sparkle Motion.

It's taken almost 30 years, but I'm finally learning the rules to women's lacrosse. Coaching my daughter this year on the Mighty Purple Cheetahs team meant that I needed my own girls stick, and what better way to go about it than matching the team name. Big thanks @laxdaddesigns for the stringing inspiration. What do y'all think? by @mccoolsdyeshop

Some pockets come together on the first try, but this was certainly not one of them. This bone colored Evo was a project for a long time friend and college teammate. At first I tried the turtle shell, then an O-channel, then a Rockit Pocket and a few others... nothing was throwing consistently without whip. Finally I decided to go back to the tried and true Pita, and it worked right out of the gate. He supplied the matching side walls and shooters, and I had the brown leathers sitting around. He put it on top of a wooden shaft (pic 4) and it's become one of my favorite looking sticks I've ever worked on; it has such a classic look.

In return, he asked me to join him in Maryland for a "Masters tournament" and got me beat on by a bunch of young guys in the open division. Thanks Nate! 🤣🤕 by @mccoolsdyeshop

Putting together a stick doctor kit for a tournament tomorrow. Other than head screws, what am I missing? What do you keep in your bag? by @mccoolsdyeshop
