The Veterinary Assisting program will be offered on campus, full-time, M-F from 8:00am-2:30pm.

In South Florida the average salary* is about $47K. And the BLS* reports “employment of veterinary assistants and laboratory animal caretakers is projected to grow 9 percent from 2025 to 2035, much faster than the average for all occupations.”

The Heavy Equipment Service Technician program will be offered on campus, full-time, M-F from 7:00am-1:30pm.

Program completers for this certificate will have the opportunity for a diverse range of positions in a number of fields such as construction, agriculture, aviation, and more. This means the salaries* will vary, as well. In South Florida the average salary can start around $40K, but may be more around $60K.
And the BLS* reports “overall employment of heavy vehicle and mobile equipment service technicians is projected to grow 7 percent from 2025 to 2035, much faster than the average for all occupations.”

Another amazing Mock Interview event by the Career Placement program at McFatterTech is in the books!
The students came dressed to impress. The guest interviewers were amazed by our students. We had Mock Virtual Interviews this year, as well.
